I went here to watch the Braves and Falcons game and found myself being threatened by the owner of the restaurant. Apparently his girlfriend was among a group of women that were dancing to songs played by a hired DJ. I happened to politely move through the group of ladies back to my seat when I received a visit from the man identifying himself as the owner of the establishment. He told me to stay away from one particular woman who I observed, throughout my time there, to be exclusively with him. I had never spoken to this woman or had any interaction with her whatsoever. I told him that I didn't even know the woman he spoke of and that I had never even spoken to her. He acted as if his ownership of the bar gave him the right to tell me who I could interact with and who I couldn't . I stated my rights as a US citizen and let him know I wouldn't be coerced by his unacceptable demand. A few minutes later, he walked by and continued to show his disdain for my stand against him. I stood my ground and he told me I had to leave. I was never loud or out of order in any way and I told him that he didn't have the right so he threatened to call the police on me. I left the scene assuming that he had some type of favor with the local police and did not even want to chance challenging them since he seemed so confident to run off and call them as if I did something wrong. Be sure that I will be questioning the mayor and city council about the relationship between this business and the local law enforcement.

My daughter and I ate lunch at Dakotas once not too long ago. I was not impressed with their food or their prices. My daughter is 10 years old and we spent around $30 to $35 for the both of us. I wish we had gone somewhere else for that amount of money. I had a chicken finger salad and my daughter had the ribs. The salad lacked flavor, or at least the flavor I was expecting. Their iced tea was lacking also. My daughter did enjoy her ribs, but I just couldn't justify the cost for a lunch plate. Dakotas is a nice, new restaurant in downtown Auburn, GA. They offer alfresco dinning and have televisions mounted strategically about their establishment. Dakotas is a sports bar and have sports memorabilia peppered throughout as well. In all fairness, Dakotas is a community supporter, and from what I could tell from thier menu, they support the Georgia Bulldogs by serving gator bites during the days they play.
