Riverview at Hobson Grove is a classic example of Italianate architecture with arched windows, deep eaves with ornamental brackets, and a cupola. Two parlors have painted ceilings. Began in the late 1850s, the basement was a Confederate munitions magazine in winter 1861-62, and the house was completed in 1872. Currently open for tours and special events.
