Truly Caring Staff
Dear Dr. Kane, Lyndi, Cheryl & the Staff at Care Animal Veterinary Hospital, Giving gifts is very easy compared to finding the right words to express what is in our hearts for the way in which you lovingly cared for our beloved Scotties Rocky & Teddy in their final days with us all. It is truly a blessing to have such a caring group of professionals and staff involoved with the care of our loved ones. we dearly miss Rocky and Teddy Bear and always will but it meant so much to us for the way in which you loved and cared for them as if they were a part of your own family. Not just a great Vet but a great friend to animals
Dr. Kane, When Max came into our lives 12 years ago, we thought we knew what was involved in taking care of a Schnauzer. We were wrong! From treatments of heartworms, Pancreatitis, Diabetes and bladder stones, we are extremely glad we decided to take Max to you for his care. Max was a special dog and you always took care of him as your own. We are convinced that while we hopefully gave him as good of a life as he gave us, you did everything you could to make it better. Thank you for always being up front and honest with us no matter what the situation and for giving us all the options. Thank you for helping keep Max's memory alive with your (and Care's) donation to UF. I'm sure the other dogs will benefit from the diabetic research it will provide. What a wonderful Vet!
Dear Dr. Wood: Just a few lines to bring you up to date about Maggie. She continues to eat well, too well. She has enough energy, I think appropriate for her age. She still enjoys playing & wiggles her tail all the time. She also dashes out when she thinks she is going for a ride. She has not needed anymore pain medication. A Wonderful Place for All Animals
The one really great thing that I can say about Care Animal Hospital is that they "care" for all creatures. As a pet sitter, I often find an abandoned baby bird or squirrel who has fallen out of their nest in storms and I once found a baby bunny. After calling Care Animal Hospital, I was able to drop the babies off, leaving them for the staff to care for and hopefully be able to return them into the wild when they are bigger. It is great to have such a place, so that I have the option to help the babies get medical care and rehab. Thank you everyone at Care Animal Hospital. "The Furry Godmother"

Dr. Kane, I want you to know how much I appreciate what you did for Wiggles and for me. You showed true compassion to us both and I am proud to know you as a person and a Veterinarian. Few people in this world truly care and have compassion and empathy these days. I commend and applaud you for your efforts in the safe and secure care of all animals and your love for them. It truly shows in the work you do. You expect nothing less than the best from your staff and it shows as well. I know you are extremely busy, but when I am in your office with one of my crowd, I feel like I am the only person at the time and that you give me one hundred percent of your attention and time. A Vet that Really Cares
Dear Dr. & Mrs.Kane, I wanted to personally thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you have done for me and especially my Missy girl. I deeply know you understand how much she meant to me that's why you are the great people you are. All of us that have come in contact with you know how caring you are. You truly are an asset to our community and we all know you perform your skills from the heart. In difficult times she was always there, and one look or one hug from her seemed to always help me get through those days. I am truly grateful to you, Dr. Kane, for working so hard with me as to help with her longevity and quality of life. I learned a little about medicine and alot about death. I honestly believe Missy held on to take care of me to be stronger to move on to the next phase of my life. Care giving for the last four years with family was extremely difficult. Missy was the easiest. Missy was a great patient, her mother was not as good, but maybe if I get another pet, I'll know more now and I will be alot better. I still miss her very much and sometimes think I hear her cry out for me or I'll run in the house from the yard thinking she's awake and I need to feed her-but she's not there. I cried for about three weeks after she was gone, just once in awhile now. I wanted to get you something to thank you for just the person you are & how much trust and caring you brought to my household. All I could remember through the last year of Missy's life that it was all about time. I remember always asking you was it time for her and you'd say - no Donna it's not time. Everytime I brought her home after a visit with you, I was relieved, grateful and comforted that she would still be with me. So I got you a small token of our appreciation for all you have done. This gift reminds me of all the times you said, No Donna it's not time. I hope you will look at it when you're having a rough day and remember life is all about time that you spend helping animals and their families giving the quality of life to their pets as you have always done. You are the best at what you do and we are grateful that you & your staff are here for us all. I must say thank you again for your contribution to your alumni, the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. I was truly honored on Missy's behalf to receive their card. I didn't quite understand what this was. I called them and spoke with Patricia W. from the Veterinary Medical Dept.-she was wonderful to me. She did say it was very rare for a Dr. to do this and said Missy must have touched a special part of your heart. I always knew she did. Thank you for honoring her life-she was worth it. They told me if I wanted to visit their facilities they would give me a tour. So, thank you so much and I hope our gift is one you can use in the office as a memorial to both of you. For now, I'm going forward and maybe I'll see you when I decide to another love of my life. Very Sincerely, Donna
