Buddy found his Forever home
Buddy came to our shelter with little training and a big personality. After two failed adoptions, and in spite of the efforts of the employees and volunteers training him, Buddy continued to show signs of stress and inappropriate behavior. A donation was made in Buddy's honor for additional training. There was no question on who to ask. Dianna and Jason agreed to board and train Buddy for adoption. The results where amazing. We came away with a better understanding of Buddy's needs and a program that his new family can continue with. Buddy has since been adopted and his new family loves him. Thanks to the folks at Camano Island Kennels for their knowledge and commitment to our canine companions. Because of your hard work and talents, Buddy is off to a fresh start in his forever home. I appreciated my experience with Camano Island Kennels very much. I chose you to help me with my dog training needs because I believe in pack leadership and hierarchy, not treat feeding or positive only training, both of which are unbalanced. It is well worth the distance to find trainers who agree with my beliefs and it is becoming hard to find good trainers who understand canine psychology- Your web page said it all!!! Thanks so much, we will be back. Our next two goals are the Public Access Test and the Therapy Dog Test. Wish us luck! Alethea Butler Whidbey Island, WA

We are so appreciative
Thank you for the insightful,effective obedience training classes for "us" and our rescue pup Sasha. We have learned to identify any situation as an "opportunity" to improve our skills and her exposure to everyday life. She improved remarkably and we are coming along. We have noticed that after her boarding stays and the intermittent training sessions with Jason and Dianna, she really is consistent with her skills and is a very happy dog.
