Tamale appetizer special out of this world - Please offer this often. Chili Rellanos were excellent (it is rare to find them done properly and they are a personal metric of Mexican restaurants). Suggest adding Sopapias to the dessert menu. See you again, soon.
This restaurant was recommended by the concierge at the Talbott Hotel. I noticed many customers were greeted by name when they came in so I knew it had an active following. The server was very helpful and recommended a terrific dish.
We don't live in Chicago but visit 8-10 times per year and this is one of our favorite resteraunts. The service has always been outstanding as well as the food. We have eaten there during different seasons of the year so have enjoyed the changing menu. The addition of the bar upstairs really completed the restaurant.
Salpicon is our favorite elegant Mexican restaurant! It is so much better than Topolobambo/Frontera Grill. One time we went to Frontera and could not even get close to the bar to order a drink, left there and discovered Salpicon. It has been our favorite ever since! We are constatntly recommending it to our friends. We come as often as we can and love the fusion of flavors of the foods, the fact that you offer specials, but yet have sesonal favorites on the menu. The atmosphere is classy, yet contemporary with enough of a crowd to keep it intersting, yet not overwhelming, so that one can hear your own conversation. Sitting at the bar a few times was extraordinary! We met the most amazing people from all over the country.
Appetizers are in good range like the $7, affordable and tastier too... and Pescado fish food $18 has a lot of omega 3 vitamins... gives you more stamina, are they serving good food? No they are not. Why? Cuz they serve the best food. Forgot to mention something special here, the ﾓMole De Ollaﾔ was at its best. Don't forget to try it when u get there.
They have a pretty large range of meat and fish seviche, which I tried - they were awesome. I haven't tried the Salbutes but judging by the looks and the way others were enjoying it, I am planning to go back for dinner on my wedding day and check them out. Service was kind to me. Tasty food, affordable price, by lunch went better in both and quality and cost wise. a
Support had been type in my experience. Delicious meals, inexpensive cost, through lunch time proceeded to go much better within each as well as high quality as well as price sensible.. We had been cautious concerning the checklist associated with tequilas however the waiters understood how to approach this. I'll have made the decision to possess a obtain as well as my personal buddies only at that location
We always eat meals at Salpicon as we visit Chicago. It's well worth the drive from Indiana. We have visited Salpicon since its opening and not been disappointed. I have dined within the best restaurants around the world and Salpicon may well be a type of my faves.. Your dishes are consistently creative, tasty, perfectly prepared and offered. When drinking the Margaritas, it's worth the taxi fare to get back to the hotel.
My mom absolutely loves gardening so about; I hired Phoenix-landscapers to do some landscaping of our yard for Mother's Day. I have to say I was very pleased with their work and my mom was super excited. Phoenix-Landscapers.org has a great eye for what would look good and what is inappropriate or unnecessary.
If you love tequila like I do than this tequila bar in old town Chicago is a great place. I'm a Cabo Wabo fan and tasted all of them, including the premium....at least, I think I did because after several shots and some fancy mexican food I was having a blast.
Salpicon, one of Chicago's top Mexican restaurants and Tequila bars, delivers fancy Mexican food in an upbeat and festive atmosphere.
