Wonderful Hometown surprise!

Calling all local Merritt Islanders! If you are interested in a treat for breakfast and lunch, make the time to stop by the Depot Cafe and Catering Restaurant in the Home Depot Plaza for a surprisingly delicious and varied menu. A casual, warm and friendly, family-run restaurant, it features limited seating, but huge taste and personal customer service. The staff greets you with a smile and warm welcome, and just like at your own home, they insert a bit of 'serve yourself' (beverages only) into the experience. The menus are not the repeat and routine fare, but a refreshing eclectic gathering of Italian, Scottish, English, and American offerings. After sampling several dishes, my guest and I were most satisfied and content with the taste, food, and prices. Not just a restaurant, the Depot Cafe also offers the daily newspaper, homemade desserts, jams and jellies, extensive coffee menu, reading library, intriguing decor, and wonderful daily specials.
