poor after care, lack of compasion

First with the good. Its easy to get an appointment. I was never in the waiting room for more than ten minutes. The X-Ray technician is very nice and comforting. The doctor was polite and understanding. Now with the bad. After about four months of injections and pain medicine the doctor and I agreed it was time for another surgery. I had surgery on Wednesday and went home the dame day. The next day I woke and in my opinion way more pain then what I should have been in. I called the doctors office to tell them there was something wrong. I had to raise and lower my leg to get relief. My toes were even turning blue. The doctors assistant called me back and said it was normal to be in alot of pain and to take 2 percocets. When I woke on Friday the pain was worse then ever, I called the doctors office with the same response as before just take more pain medicine. I had a weekend of pure hell, I came very close to cutting off the splint myself. On Monday morning once again i called the doctors office, this time the assistant said the doctor said he would see me the following morning. I was so glad to hear they could finally squeeze me in. Tuesday morning they cut the splint off and then the doctor made the comment "Who wrapped this thing?'. I guess he didn't want to stick around in surgery and make sure things got done right. To sum things up I am 7 weeks out of surgery I am still in alot of pain, still have some swelling, Now i have pain in my whole foot and bottom of my leg, I have numbness in my toes which is due to nerve damage. The doctor won't see me anymore and had his assistant refer me to pain management and said the pain i have is chronic. I have to wait ten days to see a pain specialist. The doctor will not refill pain medicine until I can get in. The past week they have treated me like a drug addict. I feel like they are treating me like trash and throwing me out. I have tried everything they told me to do, paid them alot of money and then i get treated like this. If you choose to go here I hope your experience is better then mine. I will never return here again!
