Best movers in the Triangle...
This is the email I sent to Redi-Care Movers following a transfer of living room furniture from Hillsborough to Raleigh, NC ---- I wanted to express my thanks and high level of satisfaction with the transfer of living room furniture from my sister's apartment in Hillsborough into my apartment in Raleigh that was completed this past Monday (esp given the short notice, and repeated follow-ups you guys needed from me in order to get everything set-up). I wanted to note that my mother called me immediately after your movers left the Hillsborough location and was absolutely impressed at the quality and efficiency of their work. One comment she made to me was that she wished she had known about you before she and others took the pains to move the rest of the furniture themselves...so, she will gladly be in contact with you when my sister looks to move again (in approx 12-18 months). On my end in Raleigh, I got tied up on a conference call for work, and was extremely appreciative of their cooperation and minimal disruption while I was on the telephone. They were prompt, courteous, efficient, and very professional. Based on my mother's advice that they it took them less than 30 minutes to move the furniture out of the originating apartment, and my observation that it probably only took them 30-45 mins on my end...I'm sure some customers might have looked to minimize payment to match the approx 1.25 hours it actually took them ( the drive charge, of course), but I felt that the quality of their overall performance warranted full payment of the estimate noted below...so, I did not hesitate. [added note for clarity: when I called to discuss the specifics of the move, the estimate provided was based on 2 hrs of labor. as noted above, the movers finished 45 mins early. knowing that their estimate was less than all 5 of their rivals I had talked to; based on the quality of their work, I had no problem paying them for a full 2 hrs, instead possibly trying to negotiate down to 1 hour, 15 mins since that was the actual time worked] Please know that I will absolutely recommend your company to anyone else I know who may be in need of your services, and I look forward to calling you again the next time I look to move myself... -- TRLA

[CLARIFICATION NOTE: the estimate from Redi-Care, while less than all of their competition--I spoke with 5 different companies--was for a full 2 hrs...and, based on my experience with them, I would have actually been willing to pay what some of the other companies were charging...so, in my mind, the .75 hr overpayment works out as a well-deserved tip] Please know that I will absolutely recommend your company to anyone else I know who may be in need of your services, and I look forward to calling you again the next time I look to move myself...
