First and foremost, I will start out by saying that I don't normally write reviews on the internet. However, after my ordeal today with this ghetto establishment I feel that I must inform those who seek their business. Now, my issue does not relate to a tattoo, it does relate to window tinting... I was informed of this place by an individual who indicated that a relative used their services and was satisfied with both the price and service. OK,so I went to check out things for myself. I contacted the Inkwell and was informed that they charge $100 for my size car, there was no wait and I didn't need an appt. Never once was I informed that (inkwell) were not the individuals who would be doing the tinting on my vehicle. It wasn't until I was prompted the third time to pay for services that were not even completed yet. Finally, after waiting and inquiring about the status of my vehicle; me an another individual was taken to the business (TMAC) who was doing the actual work on our vehicles. When we got there both vehicles had not been touched... Me and the other customer were both there at Inkwell for at least (2) two hours prior to our transportation to (TMAC). Long story short, I was not satisfied with the way business was conducted wanted/ and requested a refund only to be told that I wouldn't get one... Seeing how I had already paid for the services, I waited my turn, (6 hours) later and finally got my windows tinted. The moral of this story is trust your gut... If you don't see your car in your sight, don't pay for services until you do see it. Also, if you don't normally go to the ghetto to get work done on your vehicle, don't all of a sudden start... Finally.. Ink Well should stick to doing tattoos or what ever else they do and leave the Window tinting business alone. Now... If you want to cut out the middle person, I do recommend the business below. My windows look great. TMAC, was very professional and apologetic. They thanked me for my patience and also apologized for ordeal that I sustained at InkWell.... As for Ink Well, all they could do was tell me that tinting takes time. Well InkWell if you know that tinting windows take time, you should educate the customer and allow them to make that judgement call as to if they want to wait.... Dont be slick and make the decision for them. And you wonder why black business get a bad wrap... Again. I do recommend................. Tint Masters Auto Center (TMAC) 1118 W.
