                            Avoid at all costs

                            Why oh why did I not read the reviews before taking my tablet here? If you break your screen on your phone or tablet, save yourself the anguish and go somewhere else. Seriously, the customer service here is absolutely deplorable. I shipped my Surface in for repair. It was delivered and I got a confirmation that it was. A few days later they called me to tell me that my screen was in. Then suddenly, all went quiet. I started calling....and that is where everything went downhill. To make a long story short, they basically told me that they never received my tablet, contrary to what delivery confirmation said. Suddenly, the USPS was at fault for leaving it outside... excuse after excuse. To make it better, a manager NEVER picked up the phone. Always some tech who knew less than nothing about what was going on. These guys are thieves, pure and simple. I am pressing charges and I plan on legal action. But be warned....stay away from these guys!!! Doing business with them is simply not worth your time and effort. Go elsewhere!

                              Horrible Company - Stay Away

                              Horrible, horrible company to deal with. Dr. Cellphone is more like Dr. Idiots here in the Dallas area. I guess I should point out early in case my text gets clipped that they have received an”F” rating from the BBB and are not accredited. I took a Toshiba laptop in for screen replacement but was fully aware I might have damaged a cord when I attempted the replacement myself. They told me 3 hours – but it wasn’t until 3 days later that they even called to tell me they needed to order a new cord. The point is they never even looked at it until 3 days later but they tell customers a 3 hour turn around. The customer service and follow up in this company is the worst I have ever experienced. I did get that first phone call from them 3 days after I dropped it off asking my permission to order a new cord. I gave it and they also gave me about a 10 day turn-around from that point. For the next 6 weeks I would call often and get told they had 1) ordered the wrong part and had to reorder 2) the new part had arrived and it should be ready soon 3) they had to send it to the Harry Hines location instead of repairing in Frisco to 4) it was sitting on the tech’s desk and the new part had arrived but the tech hadn’t showed up yet but when he did it would be 3 hours. Throughout this long ordeal of vague accountability, rudeness to me on the phone, several trips to the Frisco location for a direct conversation, and every single phone call to check on the updated status of this laptop repair was me calling them – instead of them using common customer service to keep their clients updated and pick up the phone to keep me in the loop about my laptop repair – kept my calm but expressed my lack of faith in their next promise. I finally decided to call the Harry Hines location and ask to speak to a supervisor. Of course the supervisor isn’t available so I’m left voicing my complaint to someone who takes no ownership for the reputation of the company. Exactly my experience every time I talked with anyone at the Frisco location. So I ask for a return phone call from the supervisor or manager or president of the company – I don’t care. Wait for 4 hours and instead I finally got a response – but not from anyone in charge! The tech at Frisco calls and tells me they can’t repair it and I can come pick it up anytime. Who is running this company??? Not anyone who remotely has a clue about customer service, someone who needs some serious time management accountability employed throughout this Dallas chain – I just wonder how many tech hours were actually spent on the repair of this laptop over the last six weeks that I could have used to take my laptop to a reputable company who would have picked up the phone to call me if service time went longer than expected to keep me in the loop and let me know my property was not being just held hostage by ineptitude and unaccountability. Oh, and the final straw – they returned the laptop without the power cord I had
