I have been taking my young daughter to the Tumble Zone for nearly a year now for recreational classes. She looks forward to going to each class and I love seeing the progress she's made during her time there! The instructors take the time necessary to work with each student and encourage them along the way. Prices are very reasonable...worth every penny! I would recommend the Tumble Zone to anyone.
I danced since I was a young girl, through college, and beyond. I also took gymnastics through high school. The gymnastics and dance classes are only here to support the cheerleading skills. They do not teach dance or gymnastic technique. Vital skills like abdominal strengthening are overlooked. It is dangerous to teach the cartwheel and go straight to focusing on the back handspring. The backbend, front and back walkovers, among other tricks should be perfected before moving onto the back handspring. There is a high turnover rate in the staff and this tells me that the management is difficult to work for. My child is going back to basics and starting at the beginning with Audrey (Dance Center Studios) by building up strong stomach muscles. Take your child to Audrey's - DanceCenterStudios.com. Compare prices! Tumble Zone is extremely overpriced. Plus Audrey has 50 years of dance experience and gymnastic experience. Tumble Zone is only there to have a cheerleading team and I witnessed over a period of weeks the owner of TumbleZone and a person from her staff sit out front in front of all the parents, and talk about all the kids and parents on the cheerleading team and cut them all down. They are so unprofessional and gossipy. Stay away from there.
