This company is very rude, especially the office manager. They never want to answer questions and treat you very rudely if you have any questions. They require that you have a referral even if your personal insurance does not require a referral. I was lied to by one of their staff members so when I tried to complain to the office manager she screamed at me. Then she said that she didn't have any of my records, which was not true, and then said, and I quote, "We don't just see anything that comes off the street." I had been referrred and had records!I asked for her supervisor so that I could file a complaint on her and she hung up on me. I tried to complain on the office manager by calling back and she had ordered the the office staff to refuse to allow me to speak with anyone over her head. Every time I tried to call to complain on this office manager I was sent directly to her voicemail or left holding and ignored for long periods until I would have to hang up. I even tried to get help from their Florence office and they too had already spoken to her and refused to let me speak with a supervisor. I finally had to turn them into the Better Business Bureau for being harrassed by the office manager because that was the only way I could get to anyone over her head. I am still awaiting a reply on the issue. Be very careful and if you want to go to a company where they actually care about their patients, you will not want to go to Rheumatology Associates of North Alabama.
