Really Unprofessional and Unreliable......
I Hired Mr. Wallen to be my DUI attorney, I paid his office $4000.00. He was very nice to me at first before payment then after I never met him nor did he deal with my DUI. On his website it says: "Unlike other firms, you will not be passed off to a junior DUI attorney with little experience. Your DUI case will be handled personally by Mr. Wallin. He will take your DUI case all the way through a DUI jury trial if necessary and he is willing and able to handle the most challenging DUI cases among the toughest adversaries in Southern California including DUI cases in Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange County and DUI cases in Los Angeles." Not only was I passed off to a Junior attorney, I was passed off to 4, Thats right FOUR different attorneys, The first one worked really hard (i think) Her name was Kelly Parker. The other 3 didn't help at all If anything they made it worse! One of them actually represented me without reading my case information!!!! How the heck is that possible?? Then called me afterwards and knew nothing at all about the circumstances!!! This DUI was dragged out for over two years! And in all reality should've been dropped after the first year was over due to the courts error and my rights to a speedy trial being taken from me!!! and here I am 2 years later having to have my license suspended AGAIN due to the lack planning and knowledge of the attorneys at Mr. Wallens office! I tried repeatedly to reach any one of the however many attorneys that were working my case and it took almost a whole month just to get a return phone call! And when Mr. Wallen himself called, (OMG that was the first and only time I spoke to him after payment) he was rude and very short with me!! All in all a very unpleasant experience dealing with his office during a very hard and trying time in my life! By No means am I blaming the Law office for my DUI (i did the crime and DID the time) But I am blaming them for the lack of effort and false promises made by his staff and fellow Attorneys working under his name! All in all this offense has cost me $11,000, one night in jail, 1 year suspension on my driving privilege, countless hours at court and on the phone(trying to reach someone), and left me having to find a new career, since the career i have been in and working towards for 11 years will no longer accept me due to the alcohol related conviction. I urdge people to do there research before hiring a DUI attorney, they are all not the same and maybe if I would have read this review before choosing my attorney I would still have a career and be a little less frustrated.
