I have driven past this place so many times and never stopped. Finally had a bad craving for fried chicken and and decided to stop in. A man at the counter was a regular and recommended various items on the menu. Placed an order for friend chicken, green beans and coleslaw. I loved that my food was not sitting there waiting for me when i walked in, that means it was FRESH! There are a few tables inside, seems that others that were eating in, were also regulars. I think i waited about 20 minutes for my food but it was nice to sit at the counter and chat with the other customers that were coming in to pick up their food. I noticed that they also serve beer there, so I know my husband will enjoy being able to have a beer and some chicken then next time we go and EAT THERE. The chicken was a hit with the family. It really reminded me of my grandmas fried chicken she made when I was a kid, on Sundays after church. The best part was that it was AWESOME then next day, COLD.... not all fried chicken is good the next day and served cold. Bottom line, I loved this place,my family loved it too and it's close to our home. We will be back for sure. Can't wait to try their Sunday buffet. by the way, they got our order correct.. I always check to make sure my order is complete, no matter where I am ordering from. Most of the time it is NOT correct...

not impressed
While we waited too long for our order, someone else called in saying part of their order was missing which should have prompted me to check mine before leaving. When I got home part of my order was missing. Restaurant was messy, not organized, floor was dirty. I could see through to the back kitchen area, it was dirty. Food was not great, chicken just so so and mostly everything else was overcooked in a fryer that was too hot. I didn't get the impression that the employees really cared, especially the guy in the back that blamed the missing stuff on the window people. For the price I would have to give it a D. Maybe I got in on a bad day, but doubt I would pay that much to try again.
