Very pleased! I was out of town and went to another car repair shop. The mechanic told me that I needed new bearing in the front end of my truck. When I got back in town, I went to J & J for an estimate. J & J told me how much to replace the bearings. Within an hour my truck was fixed and my bill was less than half of the original estimate. The owner told me that I wasn't going to sell me what I didn't need. He only replaced the worn out parts. This is not the first time that the owner of J & J, Mr. Gillen, has treated me so fairly. If fact, the reason that I asked his opinion was, I knew he would be honest and fair.

FRIENDLY SERVICE AND EXTREMELY FAST SERVICE!!!!
I WENT TO J AND J TIRE AND MUFFLER FOR 1 TIRE AND ENDED UP GETTING 4 USED TIRES THAT LOOKED LIKE NEW FOR THE SAME PRICE THAT EVERYONE ELSE WAS QUOTING FOR 1. THE SERVICE THERE WAS AMAZING, THE OFFICE MANAGER, TRISHA, WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND EXTREMELY SWEET AND THE MECHANIC'S HAD ALL FOUR TIRES ON IN LESS THAN 30 MINUTES. MY CAR HAS NEVER DROVE SO WELL! EVERYONE SHOULD GO AND VISIT THIS BUSINESS!
I bought two tires from this place brought my truck home and parked it. within a couple of days the two tires they put on my truck were flat. I went to the Owner/Manager (Greg Gillen) to ask him to check the tires. This man became irate and very hostile acting as if I was asking for something way out of line from him. I even told him if he found anything that wasn't directly related to his crew changing the tire I'd be glad to pay him for it, after one of his tire techs inspected the tire he concluded that a very small little tread seperation on the side of the tire, that was barely noticeble was most likely the culprit. I will just say that Greg was very hostile and acted way out of line, actually accusing me of disturbing a business and causing trouble and running around in a kind of paranoid rage. I think it's very strange that a tire shop has to have a full time off duty police security guard and cameras taping everyone that comes in. This guy wouldve had about 10 minutes labor in checking the tires. I eventually had to go to A & B tires, just down 8th street (very good service and much cheaper). The tire tech at A&B found a bad valve stem on one of the tires, of course j & j was the last person to touch the stem, they had themselves just changed this tire-which was very much full of air when they took the old one off. Anyway, while I was there one of their customers told me the same thing happened to them. So I went to Midsouth tire next, another very good tire place, and told them what had happened to me, one of the guys there confirmed this erratic behavior by the owner of J & J. and a customer in Midsouth also said Mr. Gillen had threatened him and threatened to call the police on him if he didn't leave. I must also say, I had used J & J tire about 4 times in the last year, and have used them all of my life really because my dad used them. I can guarantee my son won't use them or anyone else I know, not after the way I was treated.
