Poor Customer Service

We went to Dr. Oakley for a tooth extraction. He required payment in full for the work at the time of the service even though we had thrre different insurance providers. Following the surgery he filed a claim with all of our insurance providers and they all paid the claim to him which he cashed. He then failed to reimburse us for the payment at the time of the surgery saying he couldn't figure out who to pay. After 20 hours on the phone with his office trying to figure it out, he says he sent a check back to the insurance company? To date six months later they have not received the check and we have not been reimbursed. His office is open about three days a week and you can never talk to the same person nor to the doctor. When you get them on the phone they will not talk to you and the insurance company at the same time? I believe that they routinely collect from the patient and the insurance company and then make so difficult and time consuming a process to get re-imbursed that you ultimately give up. I beilieve that it very poor customer service and also insurance fraud
