Sweet Tooth
We found this place by accident while driving out "in the country" one day. What a pleasant surprise! To die for chicken and dumplings, wonderful potato salad, quiche, and ...cake balls. Never had those before but boy are they good: I understand why people drive all the way from Houston to get those cake balls.
DONT WASTE YOUR $$$
$47 for 4 sandwiches and one trio salad. We had the chicken salad on croisant..very light on the chicken salad and they dont even put lettuce or tomato. Trio Salad was another disapointment, the portions are so small and prices way to high. We all left hungery. They do offer an extra scoop for 2.50, but the sad sandwiches are already 8.99. The slogan is "Satisfing one craving at a time". I think it would be more appropriate to just serve something more satisfying! I dont mind paying good$$ for good food, but this was neither good nor satisfying. Lets talk sugar.....in coffee, tea or sweets sure, but in potato, chicken and tuna salad....its sad, I could go on forever, It would be wonderful to see local buisnesses to survive but I dont think this place stands a chance really. They would do well to consult someone who knows about the food and beverage industry. I'm guessing they stay open due to their cake balls wich I heard are fabulous........of course the same was said for their sandwiches. What a disapointment. We actually left hungery and went to a burger joint down the street....
