      Lam's Tanning Hair & Nails

15yr customer says DON"T GO to LAM's HAIR & NAILS, DON'T GO, DON'T GO The salon is loud with chatter, women rendering service RUDE, and clearly looking at clients & making laughter about them speaking their language. But manners & body posture translates in every language. I speak 4 languages myself. 3rd generation in South Palo Alto, AND I know quality. Wow, I've been coming to Lam's Nails for many years. When attending when Rose was the manager it was run with efficiency . I WAS always treated with RESPECT. I've been getting nail treatment and pedicures for years here in the Palo Alto area. When a person who has nail treatments for as long as myself I do know quality work. Well, i'm VERY SORRY to SAY The treatment has been horrible for sometime now. I've been hoping it was just a fluke, but NO HORRIBLE SERVICE is BEING RENDERED. The girl who did my nails tried to pass me to another, I went to help her as a new nail clerk, but she filed my skin at my cuticle edge, caused me so much pain it hurt for days. The nails were placed sideways, pointing left or right but NOT straight. She placed the nail on my nail bed sideways and not big enough to reach the edges. Then after I pointing out the mistake she ridiculed me with all the others in vietnamese. Truly not caring that I was right there in front of her. I got my nails done again and they tried to pass me off to her again, I said " No Way, she is not skilled enough " and she got angry. But oh well it's my choice to not be hurt in nail service. When I say something is wrong, she uses simple stuff to scare me like, "NO PUT YOUR HANDS BACK UNDER LIGHT QUICK," "NO DON'T LOOK ALL IS FINE, NO IT'S ALL OK " BUT I'M THE BOSS OF MY LIMBS NOT HER... I have the right to look at her work as she is rendering it.. The nail clerk put the GEL TOP on my nails without rinsing my hands so powder was on the top nail and made several bumps, in which she tried to file after the fact. The nail bed was not filed properly to have a smooth shallow look at edge of cuticle. But when I called her attention she began to talk loud to the other clerks as to belittle me, and told me very RUDELY" I do you nails this time, but DON"T COME BACK. "All after patronizing 15 years ? I was only asking her to do her job correctly, and I refused to pay $55.00 and not leave with good looking nails. Just a mess they were, It almost brought me to tears, what is this world coming to? The WAY THE SERVICE AT LAM'S NAIL WAS RENDERED AS IF I WAS NOT WORTHY OF EXCELLENT NAIL MANICURE, EVEN AT SUCH A HIGH PRICE. MY BILL OUT THE DOOR TODAY WAS $78.00 PEDI- FULL SET. AND I PAY EVERY TIME AND TIP $5.OO TO BOTH CLERKS. TODAY I LEFT IN TEARS.

" All after patronizing 15 years ?
