This restaurant is great! The food is wonderful and the service was superb! I really enjoyed dining here, the crowd seemed to be enjoying themselves as well. I would definitely recommend the tuna tartar tacos, very tasty with a kick to them. Everyone should dine there, I think it has something to offer a variety of different tastes and personalities!

The TVs are poorly placed in relation to all the tables and way too high to get a good viewing angle without injuring your neck (similar to its sister bar The Hill which also has terrible TV vantage points). Oh, and the food is awful and way too expensive. There must be 50 sports bars is NYC that have a better set up while being less obnioxious/expensive, don't choose this one.

A bunch of posers and dbags in this place! The floor managers suck and the waiting staff is snobbish. I tried to get a table and the hostess rudely said she had no clue as to how long the wait would be... really?! Trick please... The bar tending staff sucks and so does the TV setup... Would I go there again? Definitely not!

If you like people who are ready to fight and curse at women while management turns the other way, this is the perfect place for you! We had a table reserved for 6 people last friday and and only 4 of us were seated and hanging out. When 3 guys in suits sat next to us we didn't care assuming they would leave when the rest of our group arrived and that the waitress or hostess told them about our reservation. But when the rest of our party arrived they refused to leave and starting cursing at the women in our group and were about to start a fight. When we complained to management their explanation was - "Well they ordered food" WTF?!??!!?! What does that have to do with anything. Our party ordered plenty of food and drinks and we had the table reserved!! But management didn't care what these 3 guys did as long as they were wearing ties and ordered some beer and nachos. Overrated Why oh why do my friends consistently pick overrated spots for their outings. *sigh* Anyway that's what you get when you go here. -So my friend and I shared the burger sliders- which aren't cooked to order- what you get are frozen burgers which are oddly identical to white castle burgers. Oddly taste like them too. -We also shared the loaded wafer fries. Not bad, not great either. -I heard this place had good happy hour prices, but not true at all. Pitchers are about as expensive as you can get. -Best part- our waitress was rude to us from the very beginning. I work as a server as well so I know the game. She didn't like us and showed it from the beginning- the best part- she spilled beer on me !! Loved that! My verdict is: not going back and I wouldn't recommend this spot to anyone.

This place doesn't have a solid identity. It tries to be a place for nice food/drinks, a dance party, a sports party, and a chill neighborhood watering hole. It fails in every category. The staff gives off a sleazy vibe to me. The drink are overpriced and the food is gross. Bad all around.

was really excited when a sports bar opened in the neighborhood but the service is unbearable. i have been a few times the food is lacking, and the service is always terrible and i don't think i'll be going back after last night's horrendous dinner. the waitress was unresponsive to our requests for drinks and just way too slow. it took 45 minutes to get a burger to the table. we watched as our waitress stood by the bar, eating, watching TV, and texting on her cell phone. she had 4 tables to cover, which should be a breeze for even the rookie waitress. bad food and absolutely horrible service.

This place supposedly lets you make reservations. Sadly that reservation means nothing. We reserved a table from noon to 4 pm. at 2:30, in the middle of the 3rd quarter of a close game, we were unapologetically told that we had to get up from the table because the next reservation was coming in. We brought up the fact that we had the table until 4 and they gave us the check. Way to ruin a bar with horrible service. Do not go here.

If I could give it -5 stars I would. Called on Saturday to see if they take reservations on Sunday to watch the NFL games. Guy who answers the phone tells me that they do not accept reservations but if I come before 12pm I will be ok to get a table. Arrive at 11:50am on Sunday with guests from out of town in tow to watch the kickoff of the NFL season and I am told sorry, all tables are reserved but if I would like to sit at the bar stools along the wall I could do that. Wondering how 6 of us were going to watch the games while staring at the wall I asked if they could put a particular game on and again I was met with another long line of "no, sorry" excuses. Terrible excuse for a sports bar and if the place wants to last more than a year they better get their act together. Horrible experience and total waste of time.

This place sucks will never go back. Came here for Brunch on Saturday around noon. World cup game had just ended and there was no one there. Place was completely empty and it still took an hour to make a sandwich and pancakes. They had to change my order because they "ran out" of fish, but staff did not realize this until half an hour after I ordered. Although the menu says pancakes, they only gave us one pancake. Waitress had an attitude. When we asked if the order was wrong. Waitress said she was new and had never worked during brunch and she would ask. Moments later someone from the kitchen came out to give us a wet, poorly made extra pancake that tasted like crap. We had no idea what they were doing. He said "you're welcome" even though we had no idea what was going on and we had not said thank you. A couple of minutes later the waitress comes out to explain that even though when you order pancakes they only give you one pancake. And that they gave us another crappy one free of charge.

-Horrendous service (!!!!!!) -Overpriced -Incompetent waitresses -Need I go on......? My party was treated so poorly by the staff here that I complained to the manager, which up until that point I had never done anywhere before. The waitress had zero interest in our table because she knew we weren't going to be running up a large tab, so instead she proceeded to flirt with the table next to us for a good twenty minutes before I had to follow her to the bar and give her our order. That was after having to request menus from the hostess. Furthermore, she brought us our tab before we had even finished our first pitcher of beer (for a table of seven.) I could go on but I think my point has been made. The place is not at all worth your time so don't even bother trying to be the devil's advocate on this one.

I thought Ainsworth was a sports bar. I went here to watch the NBA playoffs. Most of the TVs in the bar were turned off. When we asked if they could turn on one of the TVs so that we could watch the basketball game, they indicated that they couldn’t without giving an explaination. The hostess did not show any interest in trying to accommodate us. She simply told us that we could sit at the small bar by the wall, where we would be extremely cramped and our backs would be turned to the TVs. This seemed ridiculous to us. Why call yourself a sports bar if you don’t show sports. Won’t be returning here.

My girlfriend and I went to the Ainsworth after hearing what a great place it was to watch sports. We also heard the food was good. However, we didn't get to sample the food or watch sports because of the ridiculous seating arrangement, baffling television viewing policy, and the inflexible behavior of the staff. When we arrived, we were not greeted warmly by the staff, who acted as if we were intruding on an exclusive event as opposed to being potential patrons of the restaurant. We noticed that the place had plenty of available seating and that, strangely, most of the TVs were actually turned off. We asked for a table near a TV, but were informed that the TVs in the dining area wouldn't be turned on because it was "dinner seating only," or something to that effect. We were told we could sit in the bar area, where the TVs were working. However, the moment we sat down at an open table, we were rather rudely informed that the tables in the bar area were all reserved, and that we could only sit on the stools around the perimeter of the bar, where a person really couldn't see any of the working TVs. The uppity hostess did not apologize or offer to seat us elsewhere. At this point, we decided to leave since we couldn't see the game there (despite the fact that the place had plenty of empty tables and unused TVs). The clueless hostess shrugged and made no attempt to accommodate us. It would have been very easy to simply seat us in the mostly empty dining room and offer to turn on just one TV for us. Several of the staff (one of whom looked like he was the manager) just stood there as we left, apparently unaware of the fact that aggravated potential customers were walking out of his establishment.

What an awful place. They doubled booked us for a reservation for 50 people. Apparently it was because their computers were down, but I don't really understand what level of stupidity and incompetency can cause them to misplace a reservation for 50 people? The staff were also very rude and clicky. Definitely not going back there.

Ordered take-out from Ainsworth last night and was really disappointed. I started with the baked mac and cheese, which was incredibly bland and topped with stale, overly-spiced (I think it was thyme?) breadcrumbs. I don't think it was baked with the breadcrumbs so much as the stale pieces were sprinkled on top after it was done. Second dish was the brisket and red pepper cole-slaw sandwich. I actually liked the sandwich, which had a very pulled pork, BBQ-y taste to it. The fries it came with were as lousy as you'd expect from the crummiest of sports bars. My buddy ordered the lobster mashed potatoes and a buffalo chicken wrap. He reported that the lobster mashed was good, but the buffalo chicken was completely bland as well. At $50 for our meal, we also thought it was too expensive (and we passed on ordering the $12 corn on the cob - what?!) and neither of us ever plans to order again.

The food here is awful, it’s definitely prepackaged frozen food heated up in a microwave. Not worth spending $30+ for something you can microwave yourself. I went to the Ainsworth recently and I wish I hadn’t. I had never had a worse experience at a restaurant. First, we waited about 10 minutes from the time we sat down to when our served actually showed up. She pulled out a pad and asked if we were ready to order in a very short tone. The problem is we were never given menus. So she went and grabbed a few, threw them down on our table and walked away in a really rude manner. We finally got to order after being there for about 40 minutes, the waitress was again very rude and not engaging, just acting as though we were wasting her time. The food arrived much later and it was just awful. My burger tasted rotten and my g/fs dish was cold. We called the waitress over to tell her that our food was bad, and she started yelling at us. Going on about how she’s busy, it’s not her fault, ect. I asked to speak to the manager, who eventually came over, and he was even worse. He basically told us that he didn’t have time to deal with “people like us” and they didn’t even need our business. No offer to bring us new food or even a simple apology. Any place that treats customers like that needs to close.

Went here the other night to watch some basketball. I would have been better watching it at home. For a so called sports bar, they hardly have any TV’s, and the picture/sound quality is awful. This place advertises good food, but I have no idea what their definition of “good” is. The food tastes like it came out of a frozen box and was warmed up in the microwave. On top of that, this place is really expensive and the servers are beyond rude. Our waiter had the most condescending attitude and was never around to see if we needed anything. Our food took over an hour to come out, and it was cold. When we informed our waiter he said it wasn’t his fault and started yelling at us. I went here last week with some friends, one who happened to be a minority. Some guys at the bar started heckling my friend, saying racist things to him. Not wanting to get into it, we told them to just back off. After going on for a few more minutes, the manager came out and told us that he’ll throw us out if we don’t stop causing trouble. We told the manager that we didn’t do anything, and that they were yelling racial slurs at our friend. He just ignored what we told him, didn’t deny it, and told us again he’d throw us out. I didn’t think places could have racist managers like that in this day and age.

I was at the Ainsworth recently for a charity event. They really know what they are doing here! They had everything set up so nicely. I've been here on a normal day and they have tons of tables with lounge style seating and they cleared that all out to make room for the event! They had a step&repeat set up and everything. They passed around appetizers (which were amazing) stamped us for drinks and had a great DJ. Everything seemed to go as planned. This place is awesome!

They truely are so good, our service was very good the last time we were there (and everytime for that matter). The Ainsworth is my lunch pick every time!

Ainsworth is awesome to hang out with the guys and catch a game or grab a beer. But when you just dont feel like leaving your house to get that hummus and their great burgers you don't have to! The Ainsworth has a great delivery service that always gets my order right and gets it to my apartment on the double. I love the food from the Ainsworth and I never even have to leave my house to get it.

The Ainsworth had a lot of different qualities that I wasn't expecting. Their seating was very open and comfortable. (There is not a bad seat in the house when it comes to seeing what's on the televisions.) Also, as others have said, they have some great unique food. One thing that I don't see on menus in the city very often is, Grilled Sweet Corn on the Cob, as an appetizer. It was actually very good and something really different to try. I usually don't give restaurants 5 stars, but I really thought The Ainsworth was worth it. There's truly nothing I have to complain about other than the price, but again as many other reviews have said, it's worth it!

It seems like everywhere you go in the city these days that the staff is always so miserable and hates their jobs. But at The Ainsworth it actually was really different. The hostess was really nice when she seated us with a huge smile on her face. Then, after our waitress greeted us she told us the specials for the day. The rest of the meal went perfectly, with the food coming out very fast and tasting delicious. I was really satisfied with the service and the food. (only had water so can't comment on the drinks)

I am known by my friends as a restaurant connoisseur and I have to say that The Ainsworth exceeds all other bars of its kind. Although the food was a little bit pricey it was defiantly worth it because it was absolutely delicious! I had to give it five starts because I truly had no complaints when walking out the door. The only thing that I do wish was that I heard about The Ainsworth sooner, because from now on I will be fondue-ing every week!

Seeing that I am new to the Manhattan area, I hadn't heard of The Ainsworth until a friend of mine mentioned what a great sports bar it is. When I got there, I was expecting something completely different. Although he told me it was a more up-scale place then your typical sports bar, I was surprised by their unique blend of a laid back atmosphere and sophistication. It was very refreshing to get a few drinks there because I felt as if I fit right in. I'll defiantly be back soon, especially for their disco fries!

I know that it is kind of strange to be writing a review about spinach-artichoke dip, but seriously it's amazing! Yes, spinach dip may be a typical item on most bars’ menus but The Ainsworth has the best one that I have ever had. It's creamy, has the perfect amount of spinach, and the artichokes are very very tasty. I also would recommend their tomato stack salad and their philly sliders but not without the dip for an appetizer :)

I came to visit my daughter at FIT and this place is right around the corner from the school. She had never been there so we tried it out. I was pleasntly surprised at the selction and pricing. I figured every place around her school would be super expensive but this wasn't too bad. I had a burger and she had sliders. I loved my burger...cooked to perfection. Our waitress was so cute and helpful she did a great job. All around I think this will be a frequent lunch spot for us when I visit!

Me and my guys hang out here during the weeknights after work or for a big game. They have great beers here, available in 100 once tubes which is good for us, we get our appetizers (usually some sliders, pigs in a blanket, disco fries, wings etc.). This is a great place for us to just go and hangout, not too fancy, not too laid back. Ainsworth gives the guys the sports bar feel without feeling like I'm 20 again. I love the food I love the location I definatly love the waitresses... Ainsworth is the place to be

The Ainsworth is definitely a popular place. I was there on a weekday after work around 6 or 7 and boy do people love this place! It was pretty crowded if you weren't sitting down but the servers never skipped a beat -- they were very good at naviagting the crowds and the food came out very quickly!!! All this atmosphere and quick service doesn't come for free! The Ainsworth is a little on the pricey side but if you get the philly sliders trust me you won't be sorry.

Hard to describe this place, it is very unique. They've got TVs everywhere (not necessarily all on but, everywhere none the less) This place tries to be two things at once, and does it pretty well. Both a sports bar and a fine dining restaurant the Ainsworth is set up in a way to appeal to all its customers. With a huge bar, both lounge and table seating and a unique menu the Ainsworth gets 5 stars from me! I had a burger that was very good with fries which I'm sure I'll be craving again next week-- delicious! Washing it all down with Magic Hat No. 9 on tap makes for a great experience.

Gotta love the Ainsworth -- reasonable prices, good service, GREAT food. My personal recommendation? Truffled chicken salad. SO GOOD and if you're feeling crazy, get a side of fries too they are the best around. I've been here a few times with different people and everytime has been a great experience, the meal came out quickly and correct, always with a smile. This place is as good as it gets and will be my happy hour spot for a while.

What is it? A sports bar? A restaurant? A lounge? With more TVs than Best Buy it could be a sports bar. But the seating is very unsports barlike. In fact, the seating is very unbar like period. Rows of tables, with round ones in front, long ones in the rear. The bar-- off to the side-- like an afterthought. We were there just post-Superbowl, so were spared the vagaries of football hell. In fact, the row of TVs just inside the door was completely off. (Yeah!) Over the bar, there another row of TVs gently showed basketball. Not intrusive, at all. Of course, the music was too loud (a DJ at a sports bar?), so communication was difficult. At 9:30 the place was hoppin'. It was the ONLY hoppin' place among a street full of near empty bars. (A freezing night.) They must be doings something right. By midnight, the crowd had thinned out. I guess it's after-work, not local. The staff was friendly and very professions. The beer selection is decent, though not spectacular. I had the Magic Hat #9-- great in cold weather. The food was okay, we shared sweet potato fries. There weren't many of them, but they were well prepared in a special garlicy sauce, with something green and tasty mixed in. The nachos too were greener than usual, but nice. The place is not cheap. Our bill, with only beer and appetizers came to around $50 each. Ouch! --Drink Club NYC is a roving group of NY Drinkers

The Ainsworth is a huge place that is very nice inside. There are leather booths and comfortable chairs that make hanging out there very relaxing. Also, the candlelit tables and massive amounts of TV's make for an atmosphere that adds a touch of class and also allows for sports fanatics to go crazy! The food is also really good. They have great burgers, disco fries, and salads. I'll be there for most games next season.

This is 100% my favorite place to go out with my wife. It literally is the only place we can both agree on. Somehow, she seems to love the atmosphere and she can't stop ordering the peking duck burrito. I, on the other hand, obviously love all of the flat screens. Also, I really enjoy the sirloin sliders because it is the perfect amount of food for a small dinner. I recommend The Ainsworth to those looking for maybe a Valentine's Day dinner where the guy can make out just as well as the woman!

I have never seen such a great sports bar before! Compared to your usual sports bars, The Ainsworth is the cream of the crop. When you walk in there are TVs right in the front and all over the restaurant. Then once you move further into the place, you can see all of the candles lighting the tables and the beautiful bar which truly makes the place have a great feel to it. One that the ladies love too. I only stayed for a little while, but I can't wait to get back because there is something about that place that draws you in! The crowd is filled with happy people enjoying their drinks and watching sports--could you really ask for anything more?

After going to The Ainsworth for the second time, I realized this week that this place is as good as I thought it was. After leaving after the first time, I thought it was a stroke of luck that my wife and I had such good food, drinks, and service. But after returning with a colleague of mine, I was surprised that I had a similar experience the second time around. My food choices we're a little different however because I started off with some tuna tarter tacos and then for my entree' I chose the roasted teriyaki chicken. Both lived up to the amazing burger that I had with my wife, so I was pleasantly satisfied. I will be returning again, hopefully for another great experience and more tasty food.

My nephew from New Jersey just turned twenty one a few weeks ago and is a die-hard sports fan. When I took him to The Ainsworth, a place I commonly go to after work for a cocktail, he was extremely impressed. I wanted him to feel as if he was in a more upscale place then where he normally goes with his college friends. I think that The Ainsworth was a great choice because I did not have to spend a lot of money (which I normally do when I take him out) and he really enjoyed both the food and the drinks. His choice was the Philly Sliders which he said were just as good as a real Philly cheese steak! I opted for the spinach and artichoke dip which was equally as yummy. I'm sure we will be back the next time he is in the city.

What a wonderful atmosphere the Ainsworth provides for the everyday sports fan in NYC. With its huge leather lounge seats, endless amazing dishes and dozens of TVs the Ainsworth is a place I've often enjoyed. While I have been here several times I have never personally thrown a party here, however they seem very open to reservations for large groups in fact the last time I was in the friendly staff were entertaining a large party with ease. All of the seats and tables are moveable so they are able to create endless floorplans to accomodate many needs. The next time I need an event space with great food and drinks, this is the first place I will go.

Its super rare to find a place that I enjoy as much as my boyfriend does. Hes a mans man and I'm well, a girl. The Ainsworth has provided a solution to our constant struggles, nice enough to take a girl, sports oriented with millions of TVs for the guys. This place is not only popular for sports though, the food happens to be amazing -- nothing like the typical sports bar. This place is ideal for anyone and everyone! I met up with friends for drinks and apps last week and had an absolutely wonderful experience! The waitstaff was very friendly and provided great service. I personally really enjoyed the specialty drink menu and was also very happy to find that they recently began delivering, which I must try out! I will be returning here often!

THIS PLACE IS GREAT! I have been about 5+ times already, and I will of course continue to come back! I have told al my co-workers and all of them have requested that I write a review to make sure this place gets credit where credits worth! The waitresses are always total sweethearts, and even the deilvery guy, (and yes tihs place delivers, which is of course another great perk), is really nice and fast another big perk! Anyway I'm glad this placed opened up in Chelsea and I will continue to return!

I'm lucky enough to work across the street from this place which I have been frequenting since the opening. There burgers are great! I'm also a really big fan of their drinks specials! They are really yummy, and not too sweet like lots of other specials usually are. They also have cool names, and I like the new Veev, which they also have!

I came here the other day for brunch while I was doing my apartment search in the area, (luckily I found a great place!) and I was totally impressed! the waitresses weer all knowledgable and attentive! I also love being able to watch sports center all day long and enjoy a great brunch and good cocktails! I'm excited to move here as I will of course need to try out their delivery!! :)

Ah, Ainsworth. You confuse me. Nice decor, large enough to host big parties, tasty bar food and reasonable drink prices. Oh, and TVs, lots of them. Seems to be this place's claim to fame. Perhaps it was an isolated incident but when I was there with a group of friends, every TV was playing the same thing. Pretty awesome if it's a big event you happen to be interested in. But, if you're looking for a bunch of Sunday football games or a variety of sports, you are fresh out of luck. A quick note on the crowd: it is very "Chelsea" if you catch my drift. Think trendy, young professionals and former frat boys. Admittedly, I haven't been here on a weekend night though I'm curious (and not at the same time) to see what that crowd is like.

Ok so I'm really not the review type, but it's Friday, and well a little procrastination from work can't heard right? ... Let me just start by saying, working in Chelsea has tons of pros and cons, but the one thing it's been lacking is good lunch spots that deliver! Fortunately, my friend told me about this place, and although I have yet to check it out in person, I know I am going to very soon as i was totally impressed with the delivery process...good phone person, she actually understood my order and took it with complete ease and efficiency, super fast delivery time, and the food was still warm and tasted GREAT! I most definitely recommend trying their pizza, their grilled prime steak salad, and their veggie melt... ok i'm not a total pig, my coworkers and i shared.. and everything was great, I can't wait to come check the place out in person!

I decided to come check this place out after continuous mention about how great this place is, from a bunch of my friends,...and to my delight all the hype was actually true! My friends and I came after work sometime last week.. We ordered the pear-apple crush martinis, the acai eco-tinis, and the lantern, and of course yummied them all right up! Then we ordered a margarita pizza, which was excellent, the mac & cheese, another fav, and sweet potato wedges...and when I tell you how great those damn sweet potato fries are, I'm really not joking... I mean they really are fantastic. I would go back for them alone. The service was also good. Nice hostess and friendly knowledgeable waitress. Overall a success!

I love sports but hate sports bars. But I decided to give The Ainsworth a try because it is described as "upscale". And it definitely is - the ambiance is nice, the decor is classy, and the menu is pricey. In general, much better than the average sports bar, but without the sweaty men and cheap beer if that's what you're looking for.

I brought my family into The Ainsworth a month ago for Brunch and I was a little skeptical if the food was going to be good, since I had only been at night. To my mother's approval, the maple fondue was scrumptous and the french toast was soo good! When my family comes back to visit, they said to remember this place to bring them again for a great late morning bite to eat

I've visited The Ainsworth quite a few times for games, happy hour, etc. and have always been more than satisfied. Great vibe, good food, amazing clientèle, an overall good time. One of the last times I was here, I happened to notice the brunch menu. This passed Sunday a group of girlfriends and I (10 of us total) decided to make our weekend ritual at this sports bar meets lounge for an afternoon of drinking and gabbing. Not only was the food hot and delicious (Maple Fondue is DEF the way to go), the service was outstanding! It was a beautiful day, and the windows were drawn open giving the space almost a "patio" feel. The best part of our experience was that we weren't jam packed in a restaurant with people crowding our conversation or making us feel that we had to hurry up to free up seats. Overall, this place gets my vote for virtually ALL times of the day! Good looking people, delicious cocktails + a tasty brunch? SOLD!

Let's face it, this place is always crowded! But, come in for happy hour and it's a completely different scene. It's not super crowded yet, and they actually have really decent drink specials. I LOVE the watermelontini ($5 during HH). Not to mention the Lobster Cobb Salad is AMAZING!

I work right down the road from The Ainsworth and I fell upon it last week , came if for the NCAA tournament. I couldn't believe all of the TVs they had, great place to watch a sports game. I ordered a good thai salad and my buddy got one of the shrimp quesadilla specials, great place!

I went in to the this place with a bunch of friends and ordered some of their speciality cocktails (I think its on the back of the menu if I remember correctly) and they were all very tasty. Not too sweet or over the top, strong enough etc. The one with Jameson in it was my personal favorite..

This place is really something special! It's location is absolutely ideal! I don't think we've ever had something so unique in Chelsea before. Besides the fun trendy sports bar atmosphere, they actually have an excellent food menu. Not to sound jaded or anything, but the majority of places in the city that deliver end up forgetting something you ordered, getting something wrong, or just simply taking too long to the point where the food ends up being completely cold, but none of these awful things happened with my lunch delivery order here at The Ainsworth. I would absolutely recommend them to everyone in the area. I can't wait to go back with my friends for some after work happy hour drinking!!!

I had been resisting coming to this place for a while, despite the fact that my husband insisted I would like it. I just don't like going to sports bars. They are too crowded and you can never see the game and they all feel, well, kinda dirty and gross to me. He kept on calling it a sports-bar, which is probably why I wouldn't go. Now, if he had been called it a "gastropub" - that would have gotten my attention (ok, I would have looked at him like he had three heads). But that's a pretty good way to describe this place. The food was delicious, the interior was classy (it even had chandeliers), and both the clientele and the servers made me feel very comfortable. Not to mention the bazillion televisions. Great place!

If the steroids era in sports is over, The Ainsworth didn't get the message -- this place has more TVs than Jose Conseco has needle marks. Seriously, every which way you look, you're staring right at a glaring television screen showing a sporting event, which is convenient if you have a large group of people sitting around a table and facing different directions. The bar itself is pretty good -- decent selection of draft beers and tasty food (the burgers are excellent). And the place is a tad more stylish than your average sports bar. I would recommend going early on the night of a big game; as big as this place is, it fills up surprisingly fast. So swing by and check this spot out soon -- before the Anti-Doping Commission gets wise and shuts it down.

I was at The Ainsworth 3 times in one week in December and had 3 completely different experiences. One was for a private event, food was great, staff was professional venue furniture was totally moved around from normal set up. Another time I met friends there for a drink on Friday after work, great looking crowd and vibe. Lastly was there on Sunday for a football game. So glad a place like this is in the neighborhood!

Other than bringing 30-40 new patrons to this bar, many of whom absolutely loved it and will be back in the future, I think the best way to thank The Ainsworth for their help at my party last night is to praise them to the rest of the world for their outstanding treatment. I showed up at the tail end of a game night for a somewhat impromptu going away party. I asked Matt (the owner possibly?) at the front door if there was any way he could accomodate a group of 30 - 40, and give us a little space where we could hang out, with some seating. Within 5 minutes, we was leading me to a large, comfortable lounge area in the back, and had the crew cleaning it out as quickly as possible. He did everything he could (including personally picking up some trash off of the ground from the rowdy fans who sat there before) to help me get the area ready. It was such a perfect space, and I could not have asked for anything better! My ONLY criticism of this place was the girl working at the front. Unbeknownst to me, as I was asking Matt for an area, my friend asked another woman. She rolled her eyes and told me they couldn't possibly seat 30 people (DUH-- did she really think I needed a seat for every person??). It was typical bad-business and unnecessary attitude that makes you REALLY not want to go back to an obnoxious bar! I definitely could have done without her attitude and idiotic comment after my request for some space. Thankfully Matt hooked us up, and the rest of the night was beyond perfect!

I had a cheese pizza and sampled some of the other dishes the people at my table ordered (prime rib poke, Pineapple ribs, garlic chicken wings) .. was suprised about the portion size.. At first thought menu was goign to be pricey until i saw what you actually got on your plate.. I am definitly going back to hang out another time..
