I would like everyone to know that when you use Dr. Gene Harris' office you are not top on their list. This office is very unprofessional. My husband was a patient with this office. The office has lost blood work and I had to call constantly to get the results. I asked if they would call me when test results came in, they said for me to call them back. The other bad thing about this office is... that they gave my husband a prescription without insurance that cost $500.00 a month. I know us not having insurance is not their fault, but when I call to get prescription changed to sometime less expesive, they said they would see what they could do for him. but why is it that I had to do all the foot work and find something and ask they office to change the script, the office then wanted to know how the script should be written.. now I do not have medical training isnt that for the dr to do. The reason we have contacted a lawyer is this reason. I called the after hours number one night I forgot to call in my husband refill on blood pressure meds. The call center said their was nothing she could do for me and I told her if he did not get this med he would have to go to ER, she again said nothing she could do. I had to beg her to call the on call doctor, she then said she would call the pharmancy. I waited about an hour at pharmacy, I then called her back and told her who I was and why I was calling, she said she didnt have time for me, she had more inpertant things to take care of. She never called the pharmacy. The pharmacy had to give me one pill until I could get a hold of the dr office the next day. They never call you back, they are not willing to work with you, and they act like you are the bad person, if you call and call and want to be helped. They are his doctor.... Oh wait thats right he has only seen a Nurse Practioner.. Not a Doctor.
