      DON'T DO IT!!!

Don't even bother. They run a terrible business. Even though they were over $100 more than other boarding places for a week, I thought I would try this place because of their webcam. It simply did not work. They left a picture, not a video, on their website. Often, the website was down. When I had questioned Potomac Dog School, they claimed that it wasn't their fault and that it was a problem from the web company they used. They did not take responsibility nor apologize. I had emailed them throughout the week several times and never got a response. They were 2 hours late in delivering our dog to us. But most importantly, when I had dropped off our dog, there was a couple who had mistaken the place as a rescue shelter. The employer just handed a dog to them. Fortunately, the nice couple said, "oh no, we wanted to adopt a dog." The stupid girl said, "Oh, this is not your dog?" She was just going to hand over a dog to complete strangers. Everything about them was very frustrating. They had nasty attitudes you won't want to deal with.

          Many promises, disappointing results!

Unfortunately, despite positive reviews and many promises, our experience with Potomac Dog School was very disappointing. During our initial meeting with PDS, we discussed our situation and made it clear that the puppy needed potty training and to get over her separation anxiety. We were told that the best thing to do was to enroll her in the four week "Lucky's Class" - she would stay at the School for four full weeks. We were assured that during the four week training period, she would receive the training needed to correct her lack of house training and to deal with the separation anxiety. After six weeks of total training and $3,000, the puppy was not house trained and still suffered from separation anxiety. PDS took no responsibility. PDS seems to have some degree of training success, however we would NEVER consider taking another small dog to PDS for training. They promised a lot, but did not deliver!
