      NOT A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE

As a first time car buyer I was anticipating going in to a dealership and getting accosted by the typical car salesman, that did not happen here. Our salesman was fairly nice and not pushy at all. He immediately came up to us, showed us the new car we were looking at, then came with us to take it for a test drive. Then we went inside to talk about financing. That's when we met the financier and everything went down hill. This guy was your typical fast talking, pushy salesperson. He tried to get me to say I would put more down than I said I was going to, then kept magically adjusting the numbers to come closer to my budget. After at least an hour of waiting for him to magically drop some more numbers, I was becoming increasingly annoyed and decided not only did I not want to deal with this guy anymore, i didn't even want a Kia anymore. When we went up to the desk to tell him we were leaving we overheard him on the phone LYING to the bank about where I worked so I could "Get a better rate". When we told him we were leaving he said he was $10 away from my number, when I said I didn't care and that we had to leave and I didn't want the car anymore because he made me wait so long he all of a sudden dropped the number to $2 UNDER my budget. After that ridiculous statement we left, never to return. Moral of the story, this place has good salesman and horrible financiers, worst experience I had in my search for a car.

Great deal on used car, but after purchase service is less that bad.

First , let me start by saying I purchase a used car so there are bound to be some quirks as the car was 3 years old. My first experience was going really great with this dealership and I ended up finding a truck I really loved. We tried to negotiate pricing with the sales rep. I still wasn't quite sure of purchasing the vehicle since this was the first car I had looked at and it was a little bit more than what I wanted to spend. So I wanted to keep on looking , but after leaving the dealership that night, I realized this was the truck I wanted. so I went back and they let me take the truck overnight to make sure this is what I wanted. So the next day we went back with the truck and the negotiations began. They did not go as well as I planned, so we left. As we were in our car leaving the manager and salesrep came out and tried to negotiate again, well we didn't get what we wanted but we did get a good deal on the car.. so all in all it was still going well, but here is where the trouble started. We purchase the car that night and took it home. well the next morning I noticed that the window's tint was all scrapped up were the sticker was on the passangers side window. well i knew i was going back to the dealership the following weekend so i would show it to them then.. Since, there was a couple of things on the vehicle that were not working properly and they were going to fix them for us. I figured I would let them know about the tint at that time. well I did show them the scrapes on the window they did admit they did do it. (you would of thought they would of said something since they knew they did it) but they did say they would fix it so i was fine. So for the first appointment I brought the truck in to have the heater in the front seat fixed, the tire sensitivity button fixed and the tint redone. well after the first appointment, the heater needed to have a part ordered, so that was not fixed, the tires pressure gage still did not shut off and the tint looked horrible. I could of done a better job. So nothing was really accomplished at that time, I did ask them to do the tint over. So this time they were going to send out the car to have the heater fixed and the tire pressure gauge fixed at a GM dealership. well the next appointment was a week later. This time they had my car for 7 days they kept telling us that the car was at the other dealership and the parts to fix it were still on order and thats what they are waiting on. At this point i was frustrated because these parts should of already been ordered over a week ago. well getting no answers and a run around from kia we called the other dealership that was suppose to of had my truck. well they had no record of our truck nor any parts on order.. so we called the Kia and they ended up still having our car just sitting there for 4 days with no work being done and me getting fed lies. The only thing they did in four days were retint the window, which brings me to the next issue. Not only did they retinted my passanger window but the took the tink off the drivers window and replaced that as well. Which that tint was perfectly fine and a better quality tint than what they used. so that upset me that they did not ask me to do the second window . I would of told them I did not want that done but there was no communication "asking me would of been nice instead of doing on there own! " so in conclusion i finally got my car back after 7 days, oh yeah there was never anything wrong with my heater besides the seatbelt needed to be plugged in to work so that made me laugh that was the part they said they had on order the whole time.. Kia ended up having my car more than i did in a 3 week span.. so all in all we got a great deal on the car. but for service i give them two thumbs. too much bull____, not enough truth. and no communication within the dealership either. left hand didn't know what the right was doing.. needless to say i wouldn't go back nor would i recommend this auto 6 kia dealership in swansee either.
