Perfect
Grant's is a great restaurant for a romantic, relaxed atmosphere. I had a filet and it was excellent and others at the table got salads or seafood and each really enjoyed their meals. I didn't think the prices were overly expensive. We didn't have room for dessert, but I've heard it is very good there. It's definitely worth a visit!

Really good food, reasonably priced compared to other metropolitan areas
I went to Grant's for my anniversary as it was supposed to be one of the nicest restaurants in West Hartford. I had the filet mignon and my wife had the scallops. We thought both were excellent. Our salad was great as well. Grant's is supposedly more known for their desserts but we were too stuffed to make it that far. For that quality of meal, I thought the price was definitely reasonable. I'd give it a try.
