Kevin Surace, Chairman & Co-Founder, Serious Energy
Kevin Surace has a proven executive management track record spanning 25 years delivering innovative high technology products and services. Kevin was Inc Magazine's Entrepreneur of the Year in 2009, was listed as one of the top 15 innovators of this decade by CNBC, nominated as Innovator of the Year by PlanetForward, and awarded Tech Pioneer by the World Economic Forum. Before joining Serious Energy in 2002, Mr. Surace held executive and technical positions with Perfect Commerce, General Magic, Air Communications, National Semiconductor, and Seiko-Epson. He received his degree in electrical engineering technology from Rochester Institute of Technology where he serves on the Board of Trustees, and he has been awarded 13 patents.
Raju Indukuri, CEO, Valence Energy
Raju Indukuri is an entrepreneur from Silicon Valley. In 1993, he started his career at Delta Microsystems (subsequently acquired by Legato Systems in 1999) where he created their software development center to build date storage software products in New Delhi. In 1997, Raju started Reachnet International to help technology companies set up software development centers in India, and invest in innovative youth-led tech companies. In 2008, he founded and served as CEO at Valence Energy, a cloud-based energy management software company. At Valence, Raju raised capital and built the core team and key customer partnerships which led to a successful acquisition by Serious Energy in late 2010. He now serves on Embrace Global's Board and he is actively investing his time to help start-ups with strategy, building partnerships, and making global connections.
Nancy Pfund, Managing Partner, DBL Investors
Nancy E. Pfund is Founder and Managing Partner of DBL Investors, a venture capital firm located in San Francisco, whose goal is to combine top-tier financial returns with meaningful social, economic and environmental returns in the regions in which it invests. Ms. Pfund currently sponsors or sits on the board of directors of several companies, including; BrightSource Energy, SolarCity, Solaria, Primus Power, Eco.logic Brands, OPx Biotechnologies, Powergenix and, prior to their public offering, Tesla Motors and Pandora Media. Ms. Pfund is also a member of the board of directors of the California Clean Energy Fund (CalCEF); Advisor to the CalCEF Angel Fund; member of the Advisory Board of the UC Davis Center for Energy Efficiency; member of the Advisory Council of the Bill Lane Center for the American West at Stanford University; member of the Advisory Council of the Milken Institute's Center for a Sustainable Energy Future; and is a founding officer and director of ABC2, a foundation aimed at accelerating a cure for brain cancer. Ms. Pfund is the author, along with Benjamin Healey of the Fall 2011 report on the history of U.S. energy subsidies entitled, "What Would Jefferson Do? The Historical Role of Federal Subsidies in Shaping America's Energy Subsidies". Ms. Pfund received her BA and MA in anthropology from Stanford University, and her MBA from the Yale School of Management.

Allison Spinner focuses on corporate and securities transactions in the energy and clean technology sector, as well as the software, wireless communications, semiconductor, Internet, consumer goods, and retail industries. Allison is a leader of the firm's capital markets practice. Steve Bengston is a Managing Director of Emerging Company Services at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He also serves as a Founding Sponsor at the firm.
