Event Information
The Breathe for Life Walk is a 3K fundraising walk coordinated by Breathe DC, a nonprofit community-based organization dedicated to lung health and clean air for those who are living, working, and growing up in greater Washington.
This is a non-competitive event with no registration fee or fundraising minimum. All participants are eligible for incentive prices starting after raising $100. With a "we’re all in this together" outlook, participants share in the experience of raising funds and actively fighting lung disease, celebrating the life of a loved one, or letting the world know that lung disease will not stop us from living our lives--with lots of fun to be had for all!

Walk Location
The 2012 Breathe for Life Walk will take place along the Tidal Basin on Ohio Drive, near the National Mall. The walk will begin and end at Hains Point in East Potomac Park. The closest Metro station is Smithsonian, where walkers may board a free shuttle to the walk start line. For directions, click the map.
