Men are notoriously bad at opening up emotionally or showing any sign of affection. Although he hasn’t said those three important words you’ve been bugging him about for months, he may in fact love you but is too afraid to say it.
Good thing men are bad at hiding their true intentions. Although we think we are slick, there are a few tell-tale signs we give off when we are in love.
5. He isn’t Disgusted by Your Bad Habits
A bittersweet sign of true love is being comfortable enough to fart in front of each other. Who says love is perfect? If you find yourself picking your nose or scratching that itch in your armpit in front of him and he responds with a laugh instead of crawling out the window, he is in love.
I shouldn’t have to warn you but please make sure you don’t do these things in the hopes that he won’t be disgusted. You will know when you’re at that point in your relationship where you can be your true self.
4. He Gives You a Key to His Place
Men who put their eggs in multiple baskets, so to say, do not give a single woman access to their personal space. If he gives you a key to his place be sure he is not dating anyone else, unless he’s incredibly stupid (or brave) and in that case you shouldn’t be dating him.
Giving you access to his place means he is not trying to hide anything from you and in fact wants to spend more time with you.
If he hasn’t given you a key but he tells you that you can come over anytime you want, take that as a sign that he isn’t dating anyone else.
3. He Does Unmanly Things
If he accompanies you to that chick flick or takes a dance class, he is probably in love (or really horny). Hopefully you can distinguish the two mindsets. Only one thing can make a man sacrifice his masculinity and that unfortunately is love.
If you aren’t sure he’s ready to take that next step see if he’ll come with you to a ballet or bake cookies with you and your mom. Even if he hasn’t said he loves you, you can be sure he is about to.
2. He Turns Down His Friends to Hang Out with You
Your man is in love when he passes up the opportunity to watch football with the guys at Hooters in order to watch “Real Housewives” with you. I know I’m in love when cuddling up with my woman eating junk food on a warm couch sounds better than six jager-bombs at McKinley’s.
1. He Says It.
If a man says he loves you, most likely he is (or at least believes he is). Don’t try to dissect his words as if he’s trying to hide something because you will just stress yourself out. For the most part, men are straightforward when they talk so accept and appreciate it.
