The atmosphere at the gym is so that several rude dudes can interrupt your training session at any time they want. This belittles you and makes you wish you never joined this gym. Let me tell you what happened to me at the Better Bodies Fitness in Aurora Colorado. I was using a step climber machine and momentarily stepped down from the machine to catch my breath. While my car keys were on the machine (to make it obvious that I'm not done using this machine), an apparently-steroid-fed, square-shaped white guy (a gym member) came to the machine and started using it. I told him that I was not done using this machine and my car keys were still on the machine. He handed me my keys and made it obvious that I had to move aside. Since I was out of breath, I grabbed some water and came back to tell him that he was rude in the way he treated me. He told me with a commanding voice to stay away. He had an attitude as if he was the strongest man in the world and I was nobody. Suddenly, the owner (presented himself as the owner) of this gym came up to us and, without hearing out the situation, told me get out of the gym. Here I have to describe to you what this owner looks like. The owner is about 6'2" tall, square-shaped white dude in his late fifties with a bad quality red hair paint over his gray hair. Overall, he looks like an always-angry and mentally unstable dude. I claimed my membership money back if I had to get out the gym. He said he canceled my membership without any documentation to prove me that he'd done so and when I requested some kind of proof, he told me that he would call the police if I don't get out of his gym. I got out of the gym and the owner followed me outside of the gym. He stated (and appeared) that he would punch me and had his fists ready to hit me in my face. I told him that I would not fight him and that he would go to jail if he hit me. He said that even though he goes to jail, his punch would put me in hospital for sure. He also added some racial slurs about me being a foreigner. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS OWNER AND THE GYM ATMOSPHERE??? Make your own conclusions! I just wanna save you from this kind of hassle, save your nerve cells (your body does not restore those) and help you avoid this kind of humiliation for standing up for yourself and being treated in such an unfair way by the owner of the business that feeds himself off of the membership fees that you will pay. If I were choosing a gym in my neighborhood, I'd wanna be informed about this incident before I made my decision.
