WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER!! I will NEVER use this business again. I had them repair the main drive belt on my riding lawn mower, and when it was returned, the nut that holds the main drive pulley on(that was put on at the factory with an impact drive) was suddenly missing. I was unaware that they had done a shoddy job, so when I went to use the lawnmower, it stripped out the middle of the pulley and sheared off the spline. When I had them pick it up to fix, they called me back and told me that they didn't remove the nut and that I would have to pay to have the repairs done. A heated argument ensued and terrible customer service was given. I was called an idiot and an a**hole by the employee, Jeff. When I asked him how much it would cost to fix, he put me on hold, then came back on and told me that they refused to fix it and would be returning the lawnmower to me. He refused to try and make right what they did wrong to satisfy the customer. Jeff, at Tidmore's, only wanted to tell me how wrong I was and proceeded to hang up on me. When they returned the lawnmower the next morning, I was handed an invoice for the delivery of the mower. Confused, I called Tidmore's once again, where Eric Tidmore(the owner), told me that delivery was separate. I inquired why I had to pay when they refused to perform the necessary repairs and he said, "You were the one that started being an a**hole because we didn't remove that nut." I told him that I wasn't going to pay for the delivery, and he said, "Listen here you c*cksucker, if you don't pay, I will keep the mower." I was amazed that the owner would speak to a customer like that!! I reluctantly paid the delivery fee just to get my mower back as this place is full of incompetent idiots!! This was the WORST customer experience I have ever had and I work in customer service. The customer may not always be right, but you try to make things right for the customer. Also, I filed a complaint with the BBB and found out that they have a F grade. There have been 5 prior complaints against them and they wouldn't respond to any of them. WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER!! I will NEVER use this business again. I had them repair the main drive belt on my riding lawn mower, and when it was returned, the nut that holds the main drive pulley on(that was put on at the factory with an impact drive) was suddenly missing. I was unaware that they had done a shoddy job, so when I went to use the lawnmower, it stripped out the middle of the pulley and sheared off the spline. When I had them pick it up to fix, they called me back and told me that they didn't remove the nut and that I would have to pay to have the repairs done. A heated argument ensued and terrible customer service was given. I was called an idiot and an a**hole by the employee, Jeff. When I asked him how much it would cost to fix, he put me on hold, then came back on and told me that they refused to fix it and would be returning the lawnmower to me. He refused to try and make right what they did wrong to satisfy the customer. Jeff, at Tidmore's, only wanted to tell me how wrong I was and proceeded to hang up on me. When they returned the lawnmower the next morning, I was handed an invoice for the delivery of the mower. Confused, I called Tidmore's once again, where Eric Tidmore(the owner), told me that delivery was separate. I inquired why I had to pay when they refused to perform the necessary repairs and he said, "You were the one that started being an a**hole because we didn't remove that nut." I told him that I wasn't going to pay for the delivery, and he said, "Listen here you c*cksucker, if you don't pay, I will keep the mower." I was amazed that the owner would speak to a customer like that!! I reluctantly paid the delivery fee just to get my mower back as this place is full of incompetent idiots!! This was the WORST customer experience I have ever had and I work in customer service. The customer may not always be right, but you try to make things right for the customer. If you want to be given terrible customer service, by all means, use this place, but if you want to be treated like a human being, go somewhere else. Also, I filed a complaint with the BBB and found out that they have a F grade. There have been 5 prior complaints against them and they wouldn't respond to any of them. ERIC and TICKLE TIDMORE are a disgrace to the Chattanooga small business community. AVOID AT ALL COST!!
