I would just like to take a minute and let you know how much my husband and I appreciate the service that we get when we shop at your Collinsville Va location. We are honored to say that your store manager Karen Jones is such a wonderful person and an empolyee. She always takes as much time as we need to see that we are satisifed with the service and products that your store carries. Our whole house is furnished with Schewels furniture. We do have a number of deliveries. I have had really good service from the delivery guys (Joey & Gary)for this location also. They are very respectful and seem to really hace pride in what they do. People like Karen, Joey and Gary are the kind of people that keep me spending money in your Collinsville location! Keep up the good work! I really appreciate these employees!!!!!!!!
I just wanted to say that I had an issue where I couldn't get the legs on my couch, called the Martinsburg location last night and today, someone named Richard was sent out promptly to assist me. I am very pleased with the service. Keep up the good work!
My husband and I were there Friday October 1st at the Schewels store on the Lee Hwy. This was my first visit to the store. My husband had a doctors appointment in virginia. We are from TN. We arrived about 45 minutes early for his appointment so we decided to go inside Schewels.The salesman who greeted us at the door was very friendly and helpful. I told him I had never had a new bedroom set and he showed us alot of different bedroom sets, unfortunately I could not afford one. He was so nice and went and got us an entry form to fill out for the free furniture giveaway and then said he would place it in the drawing box. I really liked your store and the reasonable prices.Hopefully, when I can afford a bedroom set, I would love to come back to your store and look around longer. I wanted to take a few minutes to tell you about my recent experience at your store. I had previously been to 3 furniture stores prior to coming in your store. All experiences were horrible as we were judged on the fact that we were a young couple starting out. I walked into your store on Timberlake Road in Lynchburg VA and was greeted by Dennis Hudson. He helped us around the store and shows us different items and helped us understand the sales and promotions that were happening that day. Never once did he judge us!! It was the best experience we had, had that day! Because of Dennis we were able to make awesome decisions on our new purchases! He never once pushed us or judged us! He answered any and all questions we had and provided us with the needed information to make informed decisions! My husband and I had only came in for a couch BUT because of his wonderful help and attitude we walked out that day with more than a couch! We ended up with a couch, love seat, chair, ottoman, coffee table, two end tables, a kitchen table with 8 chairs, AND a 50 inch TV! I would definitely refer my friends to your store any day and I highly recommend they visit Dennis!!! He is a true asset to your store! I know often people take the time to complain about associates but I was so impressed with Dennis that I felt the need to take the time to tell you about the wonderful experience!!! I did also call and speak to a manager on duty so that she would also know of the wonderful experience!
I would like to compliment one of your sales associates, Jeff Thompson, who worked at the Roanoke Rapids, NC store but has recently transferred to the Emporia, VA store. Jeff was great -- I told him that I wanted a recliner for my bedroom and he showed me the available recliners. When I saw what I wanted but did not like the color or the size, Jeff paid attention to what I desired and offered to find it at the other store. The next day, he called to let me know he had found a recliner to meet my needs. Not only did he find a recliner that matched my color and size needs, it was also on sale. I appreciate the fact that he took the time to find exactly what I wanted and he took the time to call me about it as he had promised. He is truly a great sales consultant!
Karen Jones, the manager of your Martinsville, VA store, is one of the finest managers that you have. She is efficient, knowledgeable, professional, and extremely helpful. I have known Karen for over 6 years, having met her when I moved here from NO VA and needed furniture. It takes a special manager to keep an efficient staff, working at a high level of efficiently. Karen is a precious commodity, hold on to her.
